A summer to enjoy with elevated walks along the Pisa City Walls and evenings under the stars.
Starting Saturday, 4 July, the “Mura di Pisa by Night” guided evening tours return: nighttime walks after sunset to discover the beauty of Pisa from above, under the stars. From the Torre Piezometrica, the highest point of the rationalist complex once known as Polo Marzotto and today as Polo Fibonacci, the route leads to the magical nighttime atmosphere of Piazza dei Miracoli, passing by San Zeno Church and the Roman baths known as Bagni di Nerone.
Participants will be given special neck‑light lanterns and accompanied by a guide along a breathtaking, history‑rich path. Tours start at 9:00 PM from the Torre Piezometrica. Tickets: €8 full price, €3 for children up to 8 years old. Additional dates: Saturday 11 and 18 July, then 1, 8, 15 and 22 August.

Saturday, 25 July – Astronomical Night on the Pisa City Walls An enchanting evening of stargazing from the top of the Walls. A magical night to admire our natural satellite and the wonders of the sky through telescopes positioned along the elevated walkway, immersed in the unique atmosphere of Piazza dei Miracoli. A step‑by‑step journey through the secrets of the cosmos, featuring the extraordinary opening of Torre Santa Maria, where one of the telescopes will be set up 25 meters above the ground. The observations are organized in collaboration with the Museum of Physics Instruments – Scientific Playroom of the University of Pisa. Duration: 1 hour. Guided tour in Italian. The event will be cancelled in case of weather or visibility conditions that prevent astronomical observation. Departures at 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM from Torre Santa Maria.
